Female Margaret (Lady) De Holand

Margaret (Lady) was born about 1384 in Upholland, Lancashire, England.1   Margaret (Lady)'s father was Thomas (2nd Earl of Kent) De Holand and her mother was Alice Fitzalan.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas (1st Earl of Kent) De Holland and Joan 'Fair Maid of Kent' of Kent; her maternal grandparents were Richard 'Copped Hat' (Earl of Arundel) Fitzalan and Eleanor of Woodstock Plantagenet. She had a brother and three sisters, named Edmond (4th Earl of Kent), Eleanor (Countess of March), Joan and Elizabeth (Lady).  She was the second youngest of the five children.  She died on December 31st, 1439 in St. Saviour's Abby, Bermondsey, London, England.1

They had four sons and a daughter, named Henry (2nd Earl of Somerset), Earl of Kendal 3rd Earl of Somerset' De Beaufort Sir John 'Knight' '1st Duke, Thomas (Earl of Perche), Sir Edmund Plantagenet, 1st Duke Somerset and Margaret (Lady).
