Gerberga was born in year 0960.1 Gerberga's father was Duke, King of Arles Conrad of Burgundy I and her mother was Matilda de France.  Her paternal grandparents were Duke, King of Italy Rudolph of Burgundy III and Bertha of Swabia; her maternal grandparents were  Kng Louis of France IV and  Gerberga of Saxony.  She was the second of six children.  She had a brother and four sisters, named Rudolph, Gisele, Bertha, Adelaide and Matilda.  She died, at the age of 56 years, in year 1016.1

They had three daughters named Gerberge, Matilda and Gisela.
