Gisela of Swabia

Gisela was born on November 11th, 0999 in Swabia, Germany.¹ Gisela's father was Duke Herman of Swabia II and her mother was Gerberga of Burgundy. Her paternal grandparents were Duke Conrad (Konradiner) of Alsace I and Judith von Ohningen; her maternal grandparents were Duke, King of Arles Conrad of Burgundy I and Matilda de France. She was the youngest of three children. She had two sisters named Gerberge and Matilda. She died, at the age of 42 years and 3 months, in February 1042.¹

They had two sons and a daughter, named Bruno, The Black and Beatrix.

Bruno was born in year 0760.² He died, at the age of 53 years, in year 0813.²
