The Cruel was born in year 0909.1   The Cruel's father was Duke of Bohemia Wratislaw Premysl I and his mother was Drahomira ze Stodor.  His paternal grandparents were Duke of Bohemia Boriwoj Premysl and Ludmilla Mielnick; his.  He was an only child.  He died, at the age of 58 years, in year 0967.1
