Maria was born in year 0972.1   Maria's father was King Géza Arpad of Hungary and her mother was Adelajda Piast.  Her paternal grandparents were Prince of Magyars Taksony Arpad of Hungary and Von Kumanien; her maternal grandparents were  Mieszko Piast of Poland and  Dubrawka Premysl.  She was an only child.  She died, at the age of 84 years, in year 1056.1
