Agnes was born in year 1074.1   Agnes' father was Emperor Henry Staufen of Germany IV and her mother was Berthe de Maurienne.  Her paternal grandparents were Holy Roman Emperor, King Henry (The Black) of Germany III and Agnes of Poitou; her maternal grandparents were  Count of Savoy Otto de Maurienne I and  Adelaide de Montferrat.  She was an only child.  She died, at the age of 69 years, in year 1143.1

They had a son and three daughters, named Agnes, Heinrich, Judith and Berthe.
