Goda was born in year 1004 in Wessex, England.1   Goda's father was King Ethelred (The Unready) of England II and her mother was Emma Normandy.  Her paternal grandparents were Edgar (The Peaceful) of England and Aelfrthryth of Devon; her maternal grandparents were  Duke of Normandy Richard (San Peur, The Fearless) Normandy I and  Gonnor de Crepon.  She was the oldest of two children.  She had a brother named Eldred.  She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Ironside and Aelfgifu.  She died, at the age of 51 years, in year 1055 in England.1

Dreux and Goda were married in year 1025 in England.2   They had a son named The Timid.
