Ermentrude was born in year 0963 in Rheim, Marne, France.1   Ermentrude's father was Renaud de Roucy and her mother was Alberade of Lorraine.  Her paternal grandparents were Hubert de Senlis and Liegarde France; her maternal grandparents were  Giselbert of Hainault and  Gerberga of Saxony.  She was the youngest of two children.  She had a brother named Giselbert.  She died, at the age of 42 years, on March 5th, 1005.1 

Ermentrude's first family with Count of Burgundy Otto William de Macon of Burgundy

They had a son and three daughters, named Renaud, Gerberga, Maud and Agnes.

Ermentrude's second family with Alberic de Macon II

They had a daughter named Ermengarde.
