Count Palatine Renaud de Macon I

Renaud was born in year 0986.¹ Renaud's father was Count of Burgundy Otto William de Macon of Burgundy and his mother was Ermentrude Adelaide de Roucy. His paternal grandparents were Marquis, King of Italy Adelbert of Ivrea II and Gerberga de Chalons; his maternal grandparents were Renaud de Roucy and Alberade of Lorraine. He was the oldest of four children. He had three sisters named Gerberga, Maud and Agnes. He had a half-sister named Ermengarde. He died, at the age of 71 years, on September 3rd, 1057.¹
