Wala was born in year 0754.1 Wala's father was Count and Abbe Bernard Franks.  His paternal grandparents were Charles (Martel The Hammer) Austrasia and Rotrude (Chrotude) Treves; his.  He was an only child.  He died, at the age of 82 years, in year 0836.1
