Margrave Leopold (The Illustrious) of Austria I

The Illustrious was born in year 0931.¹ The Illustrious' father was Arnulf of Bavaria and his mother was Judith von Sulichgau. His paternal grandparents were Margrave Liutpold of Nordgau and Kungunde of Swabia; his maternal grandparents were Count Eberhard of Friuli and Ermentrude France. He was the fourth of five children. He had three brothers and a sister, named Arnulf, Heinrich, Berthold and Judith. He died, at the age of 53 years, in year 0984.²
