The Elder's father was Governor of Gaul Nero Claudius Drusus and her mother was Antonia (The Younger) Augusta.  Her paternal grandparents were Tiberius Claudius Nero and Livia Drusilla Julia Augusta; her maternal grandparents were  Marcus Antonius and  Octavia (The Younger).  She was the third of four children.  She had three brothers named Tiberius, Germanicus and Agrippa.
