Gilbert Crispin (de Brionne)

Gilbert was born in year 1000 in Normandy, France.¹ Gilbert's father was Geoffroy FitzRichard Brionne and his mother was Hawise de Guines. His paternal grandparents were Duke of Normandy Richard (San Peur, The Fearless) Normandy I and <Unknown>; his. He was the youngest of three children. He had a brother and a sister, named Brionne and Adela. He died, at the age of 40 years, in year 1040 due to murder / assassination.¹
