Sack was born on July 20th, 1812 in Monroe (Cumberland) Co., Kentucky.1 Sack's father was James Gee and his mother was Lucy Bugg. His paternal grandparents were Neavil Gee and Catherine Lucas; his maternal grandparents were John Bugg and Lucy Pennington. He was the fifth of six children. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Pennington, Jefferson, Elizabeth and Sarah. He died, at the age of 69 years, 11 months and 26 days, on July 16th, 1882.
Sack and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on January 11th, 1838 in Kentucky.1 They had a son and six daughters, named Abigail, Nancy, James, Sarah, Elizabeth, Dona and Cora.
