Haldetrude was born in year 0586.  Haldetrude's father was Richemeres von Franconia and her mother was Garritrude de Hamage.  Her paternal grandparents were Betton de Orleans and Austregilde Aiga; her maternal grandparents were  Theodebald de Baviere and  <Unknown>.  She was the youngest of two children.  She had a sister named Gerberga.
