Elfgifu Wessex

Elfgifu was born in year 0864 in Wessex, England. Elfgifu's father was Alfred (The Great) England and her mother was Ealhswith of the Gaini. Her paternal grandparents were Aethelwulf Wessex and Osburga of the Isle of Wight; her maternal grandparents were Ethelred (Mucil) Gainai and Eadburh Fadburn. She was the oldest of five children. She had two brothers and two sisters, named The Elder, Athelstan, Aethelflaeda and Aelfthryth (Elfrida).
