William VIII

William VIII was born in 1099.¹ William VIII's father was Duke of Acquitaine and Gascony, Count of Poitiers William (The Troubador) of Acquitaine VII/IX and his mother was Maud of Toulouse. His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey and Hildegarde; his maternal grandparents were Count William of Toulouse IV and Emma of Mortain. He had a brother and a sister, named Raimond and Agnes. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 38 on April 9th, 1137.¹
