  Created Baron Bonville and Knight of the Garter in 1449. He took the side of the Yorkists in the Wars of the Roses. He was later beheaded by order of Margaret, wife of Henry the Sixth, this was shortly after the Yorkists were defeated at St Albans in 1461 and he was taken prisoner there.

Member of Parliament for Somerset & Devonshire. 1st Lord Bonville.
  Named together with Isabella Kirkeby in the Inq. taken on the death of their natural son John
  On the Yorkist side in Battle of Northampton despite earlier loyalty to Henry VI.
