Elizabeth was born on December 15th, 1813 in Livingston, Overton County, Tennessee.1   Elizabeth's father was Edmond Brewer and her mother was Frances Poole. She had a brother and a sister, named John and Edith.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 84 on April 17th, 1898 in Green Co., Kentucky.1

Elizabeth and Pleasant were married before 1839 in Tennessee.2   They had four sons and a daughter, named William, John, Jefferson, Joshua and Sarah.
