Earl of Halland Finn Arnasson

Finn was born about 1005 in Osteraat, Yrje, Norway.¹ Finn's father was Arni Arnmodsson and his mother was Thora Thorsteinsdatter. His paternal grandparents were Arnmod Arnvidarsson and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Thorstein (Galge) and <Unknown>. He had six brothers and a sister, named Thorberg, Kalf, Amund, Kolbjorn, Arnbjorn, Arne and Ragnhild. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died in 1062.²
