Luther Thomas Wilson

Luther Thomas was born on December 31st, 1916 in Person Co, NC. Luther Thomas' father was William Samuel Wilson and his mother was Nanny Florence Painter. His maternal grandparents were Richard Gilliam Painter and Elizabeth J. 'Betty' Rhew. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Burnice 'Bunnie' Richard, Willie Thomas, Ernest Wright, William Samuel 'Dub', Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Lucille, Rosa Ellen, Ethel May, Nannie Florence, Lottie Alice and Hazel Raye. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 60 on December 12th, 1977 in Durham Co, NC. He was buried in Wilson Family Cemetery, Allensville, Person Co, NC.
