Eric Lee Tilley

Eric Lee was born on January 28th, 1897 in Orange Co, NC. Eric Lee's father was William Lucus Tilley and his mother was Pearl Minnie Umstead. His paternal grandparents were Hinton Vance Tilley and Susan Ann Virginia Leigh. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Dock, Umstead D., Callie Lucy and Lois Padgett. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 76 on March 26th, 1973 in Durham, Durham Co, NC. He was buried on March 28th, 1973 in Maplewood Cemetery, Durham, Durham Co, NC.
