Jefferson 'Jeff' Leftric was born on September 13th, 1916 in Bledsoe Co, TN.  Jefferson 'Jeff' Leftric's father was William Collins Sapp and his mother was Hettie Jane Simmons.  His maternal grandparents were Rev. Simon Dillard Simmons and Mary Lucinda Lawson. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Little, Robert Carrick, Edward Carmack, Henry Clay, Simon Astor, Mary Lou, Cleopatra P., Lena Mildred and Mable Geneva.  He was the second youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 65 on August 3rd, 1982 in Pikeville, Bledsoe Co, TN.  He was buried in Blackburn Cemetery, Bledsoe Co, TN.
