Zephaniah Reid Roberts

Zephaniah Reid was born on February 11th, 1910 in Orange Co, NC. Zephaniah Reid's father was William Raney Roberts Jr. and his mother was Eva Exum Reid. His paternal grandparents were William Raney 'Billy' Roberts and Mary Thomas Rountree. He had two brothers and two sisters, named William Omega, Fred Edwin, Annie Mabel and Margaret Louise. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 88 on July 25th, 1998 in Chapel Hill, Orange Co, NC. He was buried in Hillsborough Town Cemetery, Hillsboro, Orange Co, NC.
