Laura Roberts

Laura was born on February 22nd, 1874 in Cleveland Co, NC. Laura's father was John Elgin Roberts and her mother was Mary Jane Ware. Her paternal grandparents were John W. Roberts and Judith Clement. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Franklin, S. Lester, Zeb B. Vance, John Ellis, Georgeanna, Mary Elizabeth, Sudie and Ida Lee. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 73 on May 7th, 1947 in Earl, Cleveland Co, NC. She was buried on May 9th, 1947 in Elizabeth Baptist Cemetery, Cleveland Co, NC.
