Carrie Belle was born on June 29th, 1882 in Rockingham Co, NC.  Carrie Belle's father was James William Roberts and her mother was Betty Jane Waynick.  Her paternal grandparents were John R. Roberts and Mary J. Parish. She had a brother and five sisters, named Charlie Cleveland, Maggie L., Sallie B., Ollie Dale, Mary B. and Annie M..  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 84 on November 4th, 1966 in Asheboro, Randolph Co, NC.  She was buried on November 6th, 1966 in Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery, Coleridge, Randolph Co, NC.
