Atlas Rhew

Atlas was born on November 8th, 1908 in Alamance Co, NC. Atlas' father was Junius James Rhew and his mother was Belle Clark. His paternal grandparents were Isaac N. Rhew and Alcey A. Yarbrough. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Edgar D., Joseph Isaac 'Ike', Rosa R. and Bettie Elsie. He was the youngest of the five children. He had a half-sister named Pauline Helen. He died at the age of 69 on January 2nd, 1978 in Charlotte, Mecklenburg Co, NC.
