Edward Reid Painter

Edward Reid was born on March 12th, 1940 in Person Co, NC. Edward Reid's father was William Weldon Painter and his mother was Roxie Long. His paternal grandparents were William 'Bill' J. Painter and Mary Elizabeth 'Mollie Bet' Yarbrough. He had six brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William Odis, George Washington, Luther Weldon, James Thomas, Jessie Bill, Jerry Onzlow, Lela, Infant and Infant. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 28 on October 1st, 1968 in Butner, Granville Co, NC. He was buried on October 3rd, 1968 in Painter Family Cemetery, Person Co, NC.
