Mary Emma Mauney

Mary Emma was born on April 1st, 1892 in Gaston Co, NC. Mary Emma's father was Jefferson Jackson Mauney and her mother was Georgeanna Roberts. Her maternal grandparents were John Elgin Roberts and Mary Jane Ware. She had a brother and three sisters, named John Melton, Cora Eva Mae, Bessie Lee and Junnie Florence. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 58 on October 29th, 1950 in Cherryville, Gaston Co, NC. She was buried on November 6th, 1950 in Leonards Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Lincolnton, Lincoln Co, NC.
