Rebecca Catherine was born on August 8th, 1850 in Cageville, Haywood Co, TN.1   Rebecca Catherine's father was Henry Marshall Klyce and her mother was Elizabeth Winnifred Eleanor Jane Roberts.  Her maternal grandparents were Richard Roberts and Mary A. Wilson. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Henry Adam, William Richard, James Marshall, John Wesley, Mary Eve, Dora Altisey, Mozella Deaudrey and Sarah Francis.  She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named David Jackson, Harvey Asbury, Thomas Ithamar and Lena Julia.  She died at the age of 45 on August 4th, 1896 in Leaksville, Rockingham Co, NC.1
