William Henry Kirkman

William Henry was born on May 11th, 1915 in NC.¹ William Henry's father was Charlie Benton Kirkman and his mother was Sarah Ellen Grant. His maternal grandparents were Ulysses Simmons Grant and Lucinda Bullen. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Howard Franklin, Edgar Benton, Frederick Carl Deforest, Charles Elwood, Dora and Garnet Lucille. He died at the age of 74 on August 22nd, 1989 in Eden, Rockingham Co, NC.¹
