Edgar Benton Kirkman

Edgar Benton was born on March 5th, 1917 in NC.¹ Edgar Benton's father was Charlie Benton Kirkman and his mother was Sarah Ellen Grant. His maternal grandparents were Ulysses Simmons Grant and Lucinda Bullen. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Howard Franklin, William Henry, Frederick Carl Deforest, Charles Elwood, Dora and Garnet Lucille. He died at the age of 80 on January 10th, 1998 in Eden, Rockingham Co, NC.¹
