William Walter Hampton

William Walter was born on March 29th, 1873 in Cageville, Haywood Co, NC. William Walter's father was James Harris Hampton and his mother was Rebecca Catherine Klyce. His maternal grandparents were Henry Marshall Klyce and Elizabeth Winnifred Eleanor Jane Roberts. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Wade Klyce, Madison Jenkins, Maria Theresa, Hortense O'connor, Pansy B. and Lena Forrest. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 84 on October 27th, 1957 in Leaksville, Rockingham Co, NC.
