Thomas Rye Flowers

Thomas Rye was born on September 16th, 1900 in Big Sandy, Benton Co, TN. Thomas Rye's father was Elijah Green Flowers and his mother was Mary Eva McCullough. His paternal grandparents were William D. Flowers and Eliza Anne Autry. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Ernest Thomas, Doss Hudson, Pearl H., Minnie and Mary Louise. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Urias Rudolph, Walter Crawford and Eula Mae. He died at the age of 19 on November 24th, 1919 in Benton Co, TN. He was buried in Bakers Chapel Cemetery, Big Sandy, Benton Co, TN.
