Mabel Lydia Dewhitt

Mabel Lydia was born on August 4th, 1903 in Augusta, Butler Co, KS.¹ Mabel Lydia's father was Joseph Henry Dewhitt and her mother was Mary Louella McLean. Her paternal grandparents were William Ashbury Dewhitt and Lydia Anna Wall. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William Alva, Everett Lavern, Joseph Paul, George, Stanley Orlando, Charles Stewart, Gladys Alvina, Inez Claudia, Ruth Luella, Lena Letha and Norma Jean. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 83 in June 1987 in Ponca City, Kay Co, OK.¹
