Benjamin Franklin was born on August 7th, 1849 in Henderson Co, TN.1   Benjamin Franklin's father was Samuel Harrison Cary and his mother was Polly.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Cary and Elizabeth Roberts. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Abner Henry Harrison, James Monroe, Samuel Lafayette, John Millard Filmore, William Alfred, Elizabeth J., Sarah M., Charlotte Emarintha, Martha Jane, Larcena, Mary E. Pricola and Moriah Marian.  He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 66 on April 21st, 1916 in Decatur Co, TN.  He was buried in Yellow Springs Cemetery, Decatur Co, TN.1
