Theresa Carpenter

Theresa was born in 1905 in Durham Co, NC. Theresa's father was Adolphus Marcellus Carpenter and her mother was Sarah Jane Barbee. Her maternal grandparents were John Wesley Barbee and Kittie Louisa Rigsbee. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Jesse Thomas, Adolphus Wesley, Mabel and Mary Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the five children.
