Jesse Thomas Carpenter

Jesse Thomas was born on December 11th, 1899 in Durham Co, NC. Jesse Thomas' father was Adolphus Marcellus Carpenter and his mother was Sarah Jane Barbee. His maternal grandparents were John Wesley Barbee and Kittie Louisa Rigsbee. He had a brother and three sisters, named Adolphus Wesley, Mabel, Mary Elizabeth and Theresa. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 80 in 1979.
