V. D. Carey

V. D. was born on January 11th, 1920 in Conway Co, AR. V. D.'s father was Elijah Lafayette Carey and his mother was Laura Florence Evaline Bryant. His paternal grandparents were James T. Carey and Missouri Texarkana Noland. He had seven brothers and nine sisters, named James Barney, Carl William Monroe, Freedie H., Woodrow, Gerald, C. D., James T., Dortha Blanche, Georgia, Ovilee, Lillie Pearl, Bessie, Bertha, Dolly, Virginia Dale and Arabelle. He died at the age of 81 on April 25th, 2001 in Redford, Wayne Co, MI. He was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Morrilton, Conway Co, AR.
