Maude Lela Adair

Maude Lela was born on April 14th, 1909 in Doyle, White Co, TN. Maude Lela's father was James Pleasant Adair and her mother was Crinner Simmons. Her paternal grandparents were Pleasant E. Adair and Nancy Jane Simmons. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Russell Pleasant, James Pleasant, Roy Lester, Billy, Charles Herbert, Vina Lee, Leffie Mae, Ethel Katherine, Mattie Lee and Mary Ella. She was the third oldest of the eleven children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Louis William, Lillie Mae, Maggie Katherine, Beulah and Nola Ellis.
