Mary Ella Adair

Mary Ella was born on May 16th, 1919 in Doyle, White Co, TN. Mary Ella's father was James Pleasant Adair and her mother was Crinner Simmons. Her paternal grandparents were Pleasant E. Adair and Nancy Jane Simmons. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Russell Pleasant, James Pleasant, Roy Lester, Billy, Charles Herbert, Vina Lee, Maude Lela, Leffie Mae, Ethel Katherine and Mattie Lee. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Louis William, Lillie Mae, Maggie Katherine, Beulah and Nola Ellis.
