James Donley (J.D.) Anderson, 82, of Ripley, WV, died Wednesday, July27, 1983, in Camden-Clark Hospital, Parkersburg, WV, after a shortillness.
He was born July 11, 1901, a son of Daniel M. and Martha E. KennedyAnderson.
Mr. Anderson was a graduate of West Virginia University. He was amember of Sandyville church of Christ in Jackson County, WV.
Mr. Anderson was a educator, exhibitor and bicycle repairman.
Surviving are his wife, Inez Spears Anderson; two sons, Donald ofAthens, OH, and Charles of Houston, TX; one daughter, Mrs. JaneHutchinson of Marietta, OH; four brothers, David L. of Michigan, JohnW. of Butler, Charles F. of Ohio and Edgar J. of Washington; threesisters, Grace White of Washington, Blanche Horner of Carmichaels andViolet M. Adams of Ithaca, NY; and 10 grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, July 30, in Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial in Independence Cemetery, Sandyville.
