Narrative
He moved the family to Texas in the late 1800's. He served in theCivil War, sustaining crippling wounds. He was a Private in CompanyG., 48th TN Regiment, and a sharpshooter. He was captured at Nashvilleon 16 DEC 1864, paroled at Camp Chase, Ohio on 17 Feb 1865. Took Oathon 10 APR 1865 at Nashville.
