Mercy:
The widow, Mercy Marshfield, moved from Windsor to Springfield, Massachusetts about 1649. She was accused of witchcraft by Mary, the unstable wife of Hugh Parsons. Mercy promptly went to court to clear her name and received 3 pounds as a settlement. She probably lived with her daughter, Mercy Dumbleton.
