Narrative

Andreas Klebsatel arrived in American on August 27, 1733 on the ship "Elizabeth" at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Andreas became a naturalized citizen on December 16, 1737: "His majesties liege subject within the said colony of New York. From "Laws of the Colony of New York". chapter 662. Andreas Klebsatel was a founder of the Church at the Falls, a Lutheran Church which later became the First Church of Manheim, New York. Andreas was listed on the passenger list as a 22 year old Butcher. Andreas Klebsaddel and Elizabeth Kuefer were sponsors of Pennsylvania baptims of Jacob Delinger, Chestnut Hill, Daughter Maria Barbara born December 25, 1733, baptished janaury 3, 1734.

Know all men by these presents that I, Henry Frank of Jermian Flatts District and County of Montgomery and State of New York in the full and just sum of one hundred pounds of lawful money of the State of New York to be paid unto the siad Andreas Kilpsettle, William Kipsettle and Catherine Myers or the their heirs, executors, administrators or assings for which payment well and truly be made and done, I bind myself, heirs, executors, administrators or assings firmly by these presents sealed with my seal dated the 29, January 1788. The condition of the above obligations is such that their is a controversy arisen between teh heirs of John Hess, deceased of Palantine District and heir of Andrew Kepsettle of Jermian Flatts, deceased and in the county of Montgomery on account a book debt that the John Hess had, against the said Andrew Klipsettle, deceased and also for a cert legacy that is given to Anna Esan Klipsadle by ther father John Hess, to be recovered by the heirs of the said Andrew Kipsetle. Now know ye that if the above bounded Henry Frank, his heirs, executors administrators or assings shall well and truly keep, endemnify and secure the said Andreas Klepsettle, William Klipsettle and Catherine Myers, their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns from any trouble, cost, or expense on account of P Book being recovered or for the reovery of the said legacy therin, the above olbigation to be void of none.
