Abiel were married in a religious ceremony.1 He had five biological sons and four biological daughters, named Joseph, Thadeus, William, Samuel, Nathaniel, Mary, Alice, Sarah and Priscilla.

Nathaniel was born on December 28th, 1756.1 He died at the age of 60 on January 4th, 1817.1
