North Carolina Militia. Served until 1782 when the Revolutionary War and was discharged as Sergeant Major. Married Margaret Miller on 1-23-1793 in Mechklenburg Cty. At 50, he married Sarah (20). War pension. He married Jane young who had Julia Ann (1829) and G.W. Orr, Sr. (1831), Barney Orrington Orr (1833).
