Goldie Mae Brashears 
Goldie Mae's father was J. L. Brashears and her mother was Prudie Cooper. Her maternal grandparents were Lyttleton Cooper and Florida Huffaker. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Carl Gilbert, Buran, Callie Earnest, Gussie Gladys, Leona Valitene, Beatrice Flemming and Mattie Rebecca.-
