Buran Brashears 
Buran's father was J. L. Brashears and his mother was Prudie Cooper. His maternal grandparents were Lyttleton Cooper and Florida Huffaker. He had a brother and six sisters, named Carl Gilbert, Callie Earnest, Gussie Gladys, Leona Valitene, Beatrice Flemming, Mattie Rebecca and Goldie Mae.-
