Violet Hyacinth Bowes-Lyon 
Violet Hyacinth was born in 1882. Violet Hyacinth's father was Claude George Bowes-Lyon and her mother was Cecilia Nina Cavendish-Bentin. Her paternal grandparents were Claude Bowes-Lyon and Frances Dora Smith; her maternal grandparents were Charles William Frederick Cavendish-Bentwi and Caroline Louisa Burnaby. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Patrick, John Herbert, Alexander Francis, Fergus, Michael Claude, David, Mary Frances, Rose and Elizabeth Angela Marguerite. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 11 in 1893.-
